Susan Vaul Ramos

SUSAN VAUL RAMOS, 96 Susan Vaul Ramos, 96, died peacefully February 16, 2011 at the Brinton Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Glen Mills. Born in Laflin, PA, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Giovanna Ciliberti Vaul. Mrs. Ramos attended Laflin High School and moved with her family to Chester in 1928. She was employed for many years at Chester Hospital and later as a laboratory supervisor at Crozer-Chester Medical Center. Mrs. Ramos was a longtime member of St. Anthony of Padua Church in Chester where she sang in the choir. Upon moving to the Garden City section of Wallingford, Mrs. Ramos joined St. John Chrysostom Church, were she was a parishioner for many years. Mrs. Ramos enjoyed cooking, entertaining company and singing. A devoted wife, Mrs. Ramos was predeceased by her husband, Delaware County musician Don Ramos. She was also pre-deceased by four brothers Anthony W. Vaul, Frank Vaul, Joseph Vaul, and Dr. John J. Vaul; and three sisters, Mary Vaul, Nellie Cianfrani and Josephine DeGennaro. Survivors: Niece Teresa Boden, with whom she lived; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews Visitation: 9 to 10:15 AM Tuesday at the Nolan - Fidale Funeral Home, 5980 Chichester Ave., Aston, PA.
