Valentina DeMarco Obituary
Valentina DeMarco, 91 Aston Resident Valentina "Vi" (nee Litwa) DeMarco died Monday, August 25, 2014 at Riddle Memorial Hospital. Born in Chester, she was the daughter of the late John Litwa who died in 1958 and Tekla Welc Litwa who died in 1961. She was married for 62 years to John J. DeMarco who predeceased her in 2003. She worked at Viscose in Marucs Hook, PA while her husband served in the Navy. She was a strong woman who lived life fully. In her early years she loved to dance and won many dance contests with her husband John. They also traveled extensively within the U.S. and abroad. She was an avid sports fan, especially for the Eagles and Phillies, enjoyed bowling with friends and family, and visiting casinos. Most of all she devoted her life to her family. Survivors; She is survived by her daughter Joanne Marois and her husband Paul Marois as well as sisters-in-law, and many nieces and nephews. Memorial contributions are to be made to your personal favorite charity. Calling: from 6pm-8pm on Thursday and after 8am on Friday at Kaniefski - Kendus - D'Anjolell Memorial Home, 3900 West Ninth Street, Trainer. Service: A 10am service will take place Friday at the memorial home. Entombment: Garden of Peace Mausoleum at Lawn Croft Cemetery, Linwood, PA
