Arthur "Art" E. Stevenson, 84, of Wilmington, DE died peacefully at home on February 10, 2014. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he resided the over 50 years in the Arden section of Wilmington, DE. A retired Draftsman for Bell Telephone/Verizon, Art was a devout catholic and a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church. In 2009 he received from the Diocese of Wilmington the "Order of Merit" presented by Bishop Malooly. He was also a longtime member of Pioneers Retirement Association. He is preceded in death by his parents, Arthur E. and Catherine Harte Stevenson.
Survivors: Wife of 13 years, Mary D. Stevenson, stepson, David C. Harding of Bear, DE, brother in law, Alfred (Carol) Ribeiro, nieces, Judy (Marty) Walsh, Peggy (Skip) Corey, Dianne (John) Haberle, Barbara (Larry) Davis, nephew, James (Marie) Stevenson and best friend, Donald Crouch.
Services: Monday, 10:00a.m., at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA
Visitation: Monday, 9:00-10:00a.m., at the Pagano Funeral Home, Garnet Valley, PA.
Interment: Private.
