Samuel J. Weikel, Jr. "Big Sam", age 77 Samuel J. Weikel, Jr. "Big Sam", age 77, of Aston, PA, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 21, 2014, with his family by his side. Sam was a Machine Operator with Scott Paper Co. in Chester, PA for 32 years, until his retirement in 1994. Sam was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy. Mr. Weikel was a lifetime parishioner of St. Francis De Sales Church, a member of the Lenni Athletic Club, a volunteer firefighter at Aston Beechwood Firehouse and a member of the Rocky Run YMCA. Sam was an avid Phillies and Eagles fan, loved camping trips with his family, deep sea fishing and Jimmy Sturr & the orchestra. Son of the late Samuel and Alice Candy Weikel, Sr.,brother of the late Naomi Lowell. Survivors: Beloved Wife: Wanda (Trzeciak) Weikel; 5 Children: Eileen (Jozef), Samuel (Maureen), Steven (Jill), Joseph (Lori), John (Michelle); 8 Grandchildren; 5 Great-Grandchildren; Brother-in-Law: Valentine Trzeciak; Also survived by Nieces and Nephews Funeral Mass: Friday, 12:00Noon, at St. Francis De Sales Church, 35 New Rd., Aston, PA 19014 Visitation: Friday, from 10:00-11:45a.m. at the church Interment: Immaculate Heart of Mary Cemetery.
