Julia Frankenberger Obituary
Julia Guazzelli Frankenberger Julia Guazzelli Frankenberger of Springfield, PA passed away on June 25, 2014. She was a graduate of Hallahan Girls Catholic High School. She was a talented Soprano and a student of the famous Italian Opera Tenor, Bernardo di Muro. She sang leading Operatic Roles for the Cosmopolitan Opera Company of Philadelphia. She also enjoyed a long career as a Catholic Church soloist for weddings and funerals and as a Cantor. Julia met her husband Bob at the Opera Company and in September they would have celebrated their 65th Wedding Anniversary. As the wife of a Permanent Deacon in the Catholic Church, much of her time in her later years was devoted to her husband and his ministry at Holy Cross Church in Springfield, PA including ministering herself as an Extraordinary Minister of Communion. Julia loved people and joyfully lived out her faith with no regrets. She was the sister of the late Lydia Buono, Peter Guazzelli and Thomas Guazzelli. Survivors: Her husband Deacon Robert Frankenberger; her son Robert (Anne Marie) Frankenberger, Jr. of Finksburg, MD; her grandchildren Eric (Aimee), Beth Anne (CB) Main and Evan; her great grandchildren Ashley, Austin and Brian Main and Caris Frankenberger; her nephew Martin (Phyllis) Buono. Services: Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing, Monday, June 30, 2014 at 9:30a.m., followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:00a.m. in Holy Cross Church, Springfield, PA. Burial: SS.
