Raymond "Ray" F. Turek, age 83 Raymond "Ray" F. Turek, age 83, a loving father died on July 8, 2014 at Crozer Chester Medical Center, Upland. Ray was a longtime resident of Delaware County and was a current resident of Aston. He graduated in 1950 from Chester High School. Ray honorably served his country with the U.S. Navy during the Korean War and was a Naval Reservist with the Philadelphia Naval Shipyard for 27 years. He retired from Phoenix Steel Inc. after 33 years of service. Ray enjoyed spending time with his family and fixing things. He loved hunting, fishing and bowling. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge #623 in Concordville, the American Legion Post #951, Upper Chichester Senior Citizens, and was a member of the Linwood United Methodist Church. He was the son of the late Joseph A. and Anna (Bohovetsky) Turek, husband of the late Arlene (Kimes) Turek, father of the late Nancy Martin, and brother to the late Monica and August Turek. Survivors: His children: Arthur R. Turek (Susan) of Boothwyn and Patricia Heilenman (Glenn) of Sugarland, TX; 7 grandchildren; and his siblings: Anne Marie Janicsko of Johnstown, PA, James and Richard Turek of FL, and Joseph Turek of Dallas, TX. Visitation: Sunday, from 6-8p.m. at the Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, 5980 Chichester Ave., Aston, PA 19014 and Monday, from 9:30-10:30a.m. at the funeral home.
