Carl Stewart. Eisele Jr., 83, of Aston Township, died April 18, 2011 at Riddle Memorial Hospital.|
Born in Philadelphia, he was raised in Sharon Hill and lived in Glenolden before moving to his later residence 54 years ago.
Mr. Eisele was a loyal and dedicated employee of Sears Roebuck and Company for 41 years until his retirement in 1991.
He was a member of the Church of St. Joseph, and was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who was devoted to his family. He also loved traveling and was known as a handyman. He was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII, where he achieved the rank as Sergeant.
Mr. Eisele was the son of the late Carl S. Sr. and Violet E. McLaughlin Eisele and brother of the late Claire Hood.
Survivors: His wife Doris V. Burns Eisele, with whom he would have celebrated sixty years of marriage on September 22, 2011; children, Craig S. Eisele, Carol Sue Tharp (Richard), Christina E. Kopeika, Carl S. Eisele, III (Michele) and Chris S. Eisele (Kristin); also thirteen grandchildren
Funeral Mass: Noon Tuesday at the Church of St. Joseph 3255 Concord Rd., Aston.
Visitation: 10 to 11:15 AM at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 3551 Concord Rd., Aston
Burial: SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
