ROBERT K. MOORE, 82 Beloved Family Man Robert K. Moore, Sadly our beloved husband and father, Robert K. Moore, of Ridley Park, died at his daughter's home in Milford, Delaware on August 3, 2011. He was 82. Mr. Moore was born May 19, 1929 in Philadelphia to the late William and Josephine Moran Moore. He spent most of his life in the Ridley Park/Folcroft, Pa. area and worked for the Boeing Company as a computer analyst for 47 years. He also served his country in the United States Air Force. He was a member of St. Gabriel's Church in Norwood and loved collegiate sports football and especially the program at Penn State University. Survivors: Mr. Moore is survived by his wife of 54 years, Rose Gallo Moore; A Son, Robert K. Moore of Collingdale; Two daughters, Monica Armstrong of Ridley Park and Mary J. Moore-Cauley and her partner, Vicky Apostolopoulos of Milford, Delaware; A sister, Elizabeth Purkis of Drexel Hill; and his three grandchildren, Joseph Cauley, and Alicia and Jeffrey Armstrong. Memorial Service: Will be held on Tuesday, August 9th, at 11:30 A.M. at The Griffith Funeral Chapel, 520 Chester Pike, in Norwood. Visitation: Will be on Tuesday from 10 A.M. to 11:30 A.M. at the funeral home. Burial: Will be private.
