Robert K. Clark Sr., 79 Decorated U.S. Army Veteran Robert K. Clark Sr., 79, of Aston, died January 31, 2012 after a long illness. Born in Wrightstown, PA, Mr. Clark lived in Linwood prior to moving to his late residence in 1956. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War, receiving the Korean Service Medal with four Bronze Stars, United Nations Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal and a Purple Heart. He was employed as a welder at Congoleum Company for 19 years retiring in 1997, and previously worked at LindeAir and Reynolds Metals. Bob was a member of The Historical Car Club of Pennsylvania. He was an avid bowler and loved working with cars, tools and gardening. A devoted father, Bob reared four children as a single parent, he also loved good times with Julia, his children, grandchildren and his dog Sandi. He was son of the late Charles T. and Alice Gomerdinger Clark and brother of the late Charles T. Clark, Jr. Survivors: His wife of 31 years Julia A. Zappacosta; father of Christine Plucker, Cynthia Ann Sykes, Constance Lehr and Robert K Clark Jr.; step-father of Stephen V. and Mark F. Zappacosta; brother of Clarence E. Clark, Joanne Popowicz and Kenneth R. Clark; also eleven grandchildren and two great-grandsons. Funeral Mass 10 AM Saturday at The Church of St. Joseph, 3255 Concord Road, Aston.
