Barbara Weiler Woolford, 63 Of Villas, NJ Barbara Weiler Woolford, 63, passed away in her sleep early in the morning hours of Monday, May 21st, 2012, succumbing to cancer after a year-long battle.Barbara was born to parents Abram H. and Helen McCarthy Weiler (both deceased) of Nether Providence, PA, the third of four children. Elder brother Abram "Snork" Weiler and sister Ruth Anne Patton predeceased her. Barbara attended Nether Providence High School and was a member of the Media Fawns Drum & Bugle Corps.She resided in the Media, Chester, and Ridley areas of Delaware County most of her life, where she primarily worked as an in-home health and life services aide for mentally and physically disabled adults. She also assisted mentally challenged children through United Cerebral Palsy (UCP) of Delaware County.A spiritual person, Barbara believed all forms of life important. Her empathy and compassion for others, especially the unfortunate, were boundless. That compassion transcended species to include many animals she and her family raised as pets. Surviving Family: Husband Arthur Woolford of Villas, NJ; sons George Lynn of Fraser, PA, Douglas Lynn of Gastonia, NC and Christopher Lynn of Thorndale, PA; sister Ellen O'Donnell of Colfax, IA. Memorial Service 1 PM June 30th at Paoli United Methodist Church, S. Valley & Devon Rds., Devon, PA.
