Dear Helen and family,
Please accept my heartfelt sympathy on your loss. Lou was always one of my favorite customers at the bank. Always a smile and spoke so lovingly of you and the life you two made together. I don't think I ever heard him say a harsh word. An "Ace" in so many ways. May your memories sustain you in the days ahead.

I met Lou after my Dad passed,Charles Hanson.I NEVER once heard my Dad say even one bad thing about Lou when my Dad was alive, quite the contrary, and Dad was a tough man to earn his respect, but Lou certainly did, that's for sure.Lou sat in my Mom's living room for at least 3 hours after Dad died and told stories, and showed us pictures, and man does he have some pictures, what a life he lead.R.I.P. Mr. Silvestri, you were a good man, heaven is lucky to have you, tell Dad we miss him,dad has been waiting for a "real singer",i'm sure, and now he has one.Our deepest and heartfelt condolences to Lou's family and loved ones.We will pray for you to get through this, and you will, and pray for Lou's soul.Thank You Lou,for spending time with us,we will NEVER forget that.Rest in Peace. The Hanson Family.

Lou was my singing Idol since 1952. That great smile was beautiful from the stage and in person. A generous fun loving Family man when not performing with the fabulous Four Aces. The Heavenly choir just got better......RIP dear friend

Silvestri family, I am sorry for your loss. Mr. Silvestri was a great man. I loved hearing all of his stories from his music days--enjoyed his little visits after retiring from the courthouse. Your family is in my prayers.

To my friend Lou and his family,
Lou was a unique, sincere, kind, friendly and a humble kind of man. More then a friend he was a inspiration to me. I looked up to you Lou. I have a lot of memories of you while waiting for jury. The academy awards, your love for your wife and your children. You were so proud. My life is enriched because I meet you. Thank you for always singing to me and for the life lessons you taught me. I cant help but feel we are losing a whole generation. I played your Christmas album on Christmas Day and thought of you. To his family please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you all.
