LeFenus R. Wilson Obituary
LeFenus Wilson, age 72 LeFenus R. Wilson "Dickie", passed into peace on May 4, 2013 at his residence surrounded by his family. He was born and raised in Chester where he attended Chester public schools, and graduated from Chester High School in the class of 1958. After graduation he served in the military and after being discharged he work at Boeing Vertol as a Machine operator. LaFenus joined the ranks of the Chester Police Department and became a police officer for 25 years. After retirement from the police department he accepted employment with PATHS as a Field Agent for 21 years. Dickie as he was known by family and friends was a gifted craftsman and cabinet maker and an avid fisherman. Survivors: His wife, Ruby Wilson, children Carla Wilson-Bradley (Kevin) LaFenus R Wilson, Jr. (Tamarra), Rodney L. Wilson (Teedra), Tonya Rice (Rodney), Ryan L. Wilson, Carmen R. Wilson, Andre Northern, James A. Cobb (Lisa), 29 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, siblings, Ann Corbitt, Drucilla Freeman (Grant), Rodney Wilson (Aundria), James Henderson (Beatrice), sisters in law Loretta Wilson and Barbara Wilson, a beloved God-daughter Denise Nicole White, 2 God-Sons Rodney Wilson, Jr., and Ryan Mosley and a host of relatives and friends. Funeral Service: 11:00 AM, Friday, May 10, 2013, at Temple Baptist Church, 7th & Butler Sts., Chester, PA. Viewing: Thursday, May 9, 2013, 6:00pm-8:00p, Catherine B.
