John A. King, 83 John A. King, 83, of Ogden passed away on Wednesday, October 16th surrounded by his loving family at Crozer Chester Medical Center.He was born in Chester to the late Alfred and Mazie King. He worked for many years for the Viscose Corporation in Marcus Hook. John was a veteran of the United States Army where he served as a medic during the Korean Conflict.Part of his time spent in service was on Heartbreak Ridge. He was a member of the Military Order of the Purple Heart, Chapter 9377.He was also an avid fan of the Philadelphia sports teams. Survivors: His Wife, Adrienne King; Children, Barbara Lionti (Guy), William King, Diane Lansberry, Eileen German (David); 11 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; Sisters, Janet Rummel, Margaret Mooney and Nancy Holstein. Services: His funeral service will be celebrated on Monday, October 21st, 11a.m., at the Joseph A. Ward Funeral Home, 1459 Market St., Linwood, PA. Friends and family are invited to call from 10a.m.-11a.m.at the funeral home. Burial: will follow in SS Peter & Paul Cemetery, Marple Twp.
