Angela "Nina" Carlini, age 84 years, of Brookhaven, Pa. on November 23, 2013. Born in Ceccano, Italy on July 1, 1929 to Maria and Peter Aversa. She married her late husband Giovanni (John) Carlini in 1957. The couple immigrated to the United States in 1958 and made their home in Chester, Pa. Mrs. Carlini was a dedicated wife, loving mother, and talented seamstress and tailor. She was a proud old fashioned homemaker who made her family the focal point in her life. She enjoyed time spent in her garden, had a talent and worked hard on her own investments, but her 6 grandchildren were the center of her world. Nina as she was known to her friends, was a former member of St. Roberts parish in Chester, Pa. and Our Lady of Charity Parish in Brookhaven Pa. She is the widow of the late Giovanni (John) Carlini who passed in 1997.
Survivors: her daughter Pierina Antonello (Anthony) and her son Edward Carlini (Leslie) 6 grandchildren Cara, Anthony, Sarah, Jessica, Philip, and Luke. She is also survived by her loving and thoughtful care givers.
Service: Funeral Mass will be 10 AM Wednesday at St. Mary Magdalen Church 2400 N. Providence Rd. Media, Pa.
Calling: 7 – 9 PM Tuesday evening at Rigby Harting & Hagan Funeral Home 15 E. Fourth St. Media, Pa and again Wednesday morning in the church one hour prior to the mass.
Burial will be in Immaculate Heart Cemetery
