Richard A. Dolack Obituary
Richard A. ""Dick"" Dolack, 79, of Secane, died December 26, 2013 at Lankenau Hospital. Born in Philadelphia, he lived in Yeadon before moving to his late residence in 1962. Dick graduated from Yeadon High School in 1952 and served in the US Navy during the Bay of Pigs. He worked for the Upper Darby School District and previously worked as a salesman/small appliance manager for Silo for 30 years.
Dick was a member of Our Lady of Fatima R.C. Church and the YMCA in Ridley, where he enjoyed doing water aerobics. He was passionate about fishing at Cape Hatteras, Phillies, sports and traveling. Dick loved his family and enjoyed entertaining.
He was son of the late George A. and Mary Theresa Hurchik Dolack, husband of the late Helen Theresa Borg Dolack, who died in 1967, brother of the late George A. Dolack, Jr. and Mildred Uhler and father of the late Stephen C. Gabriele.
Survivors: his wife of 44 years, Carol J. Costanzo Gabriele Dolack; children, Richard A. Dolack, Jr. (Wendy), Ernest D. Gabriele (JoAnn), Thomas F. Dolack (Rose) and Edward M. Dolack (Karen); grandchildren, Lisa, Donald, Matthew and Madison; also three great grandchildren.
Funeral Mass: 10:00AM Friday at Our Lady of Fatima R.C. Church, One Fatima Drive, Secane, PA.
Visitation: 7-9 PM Thursday and 8:15 to 9:15AM Friday at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park, PA
Burial: Holy Cross Cemetery
