1965-2015 David K. Tegethoff, Electrician Mr. David K. Tegethoff, 50, died suddenly on January 3, 2015 in Media, PA. Born in Bryn Mawr, PA, Mr. Tegethoff was a long time Springfield resident and a graduate of Springfield High School. He also attended Delaware County Community College. After moving from Springfield, Mr. Tegethoff was a resident of Glenolden, PA. He was an electrician from 1980 to the present. Mr. Tegethoff was a member of the Delaware County Electrical Assoc. and the Philadelphia Electrical Contractor Assoc. He was an avid Eagles fan. He is survived by his wife, Dawn (nee Johnston) Tegethoff, a daughter, Rachel Weir of Philadelphia, his father, Ronald W. Tegethoff and step- mother, Mary Anne Tegethoff of Springfield, a brother, James J. Tegethoff of Chichester, two nephews, Jay and Jordan, and his aunts and uncles. He was predeceased by his mother, Mary Lou (nee MacGregor) Tegethoff, and a brother, Steven Tegethoff. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Saturday, January 10, after 10:00 a.m. at the Kovacs Funeral Home, Inc., 530 W. Woodland Avenue, Springfield, PA 19064, followed by his funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be private. hi honey, it's dawn. It's been 3 long painful months without you here on earth. Tomorrow will be our family's first Easter without you. As you know, Easter is my whole family's favorite holiday with you, especially the kids. They all miss you so much. I went out and got each of them a water gun in your honor. I'm sure they'll love them but it will never be the same w/o you squirting them and you getting in trouble by my mom for doing it in the house. That was so funny:) I hope you got all of the letters and pictures that the kids made you that we attached to helium balloons and sent to you on your birthday. It looked like they all made it to heaven. We were all so happy because it was such a beautiful day that day and all 51 balloons went all the way up past the clouds after we stood holding hands in a circle in mom and dad's back yard and said our prayers to you and god. We all love you so much and we will never forget you. Happy Easter Sweetheart

hi honey, it's your wife again. It's been one month since I got the dreaded phone call that my absolute worst fear had been realized and that i'd lost you. I have so many happy memories, so many words left unsaid, so many questions, so many regrets... I think of you and miss you every minute of every agonizing, endless day. I hope somehow you can read this. I feel like this is the only way I can still talk to you...I wish you could give me a sign that you are happy and at peace. i'd do anything to know that for sure. All of our nieces and kids from our family will be sending you letters and pictures in heaven that they made for you attached to 51 balloons for your birthday this month, so be ready and i hope they all reach you. We all love and miss you soooo much. Especially me. From the bottom of my completely shattered heart, I love you baby. Thank you so very much for being my husband. Hi Honey it's Dawn. You had an amazing turnout at your viewing yesterday. You looked so beautiful! I hope you were there with us to see and finally truly realize how much you were loved by so many. There were at least 20 people from my family alone, many of our friends, your family, and several others that I didn't know. Many people made beautiful speeches about you. I know that you know that I was one of them. I miss you terribly already. My life will never be the same w/o you. Remember how I used tell you that everyone needs a soft place to fall? I'm so very grateful to God for catching you when I wasn't able to. Now that you're resting peacefully in the comfort of his big, soft, gentle hands, I want you to get the big, white wings that you've earned and fly...free from all of the pain, stress and negativity that you had here on earth.
