Frances Smyth Obituary
Cherished wife of Patrick Smyth, loving mother of Patrick Smyth (Brenna), Brian Smyth (Fiancee Autumn), one grandchild, Jack, and her beloved Yorkie, Buds.
Born on February 20, 1962, Fran was loved by all. She was generous and caring with a passion for life, sharing her smile and fun-loving spirit with everyone she encountered. Those lucky enough to spend a single minute with Fran are forever blessed. She loved to travel with her husband, Pat, and best friends, Carolyn & Chico.
Fran was employed by Joseph Dugan Restoration where she was an administrative assistant and was treated like extended family.
Daughter of the late Thomas & Alice Gummel, sister of Pat Dicamillo, Di-ane Keyes, the late Tom Gummel, Jr., John Gummel, Jim Gummel, Ginnie Billingslea, Mary Murray, Michael Gummel, Cathy Lombardi, Teresa Doud, Joe Gummel and 44 nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Wednesday, July 1, 5:00 P.M. at O'Leary's Funeral Home or Thursday July 2, 9-10:30 A.M. at St. Dorothy Church followed by her funeral mass. Int. S.S. Peter and Paul Cemetery.

I'm reading the Prendie newsletter now ... and am so sad to hear about Franni's passing. She sat next to me throughout all of Freshman year ... as we sat in alphabetical order. I ran into her for the first few Prendie at the Bay reunions, as I was on the planning committee. I had the pleasure of meeting many of her sisters too. I am thinking of all of your family. So so so sad to read this, we were best of friends as kids/teens and lost touch as adults but over the years always thought of Franni, Carolyn and Chrissy. Oh what fun we had..great memories.
