William Wildermuth Obituary

1948-2015 William Joseph “Bill” Wildermuth, 67, of Glenolden, PA passed away surrounded by family on Friday, September 11, 2015 after a valiant fight with esophageal cancer. A graduate of Jules E. Mastbaum Area Vocational Technical High School in Philadelphia, PA, Bill went on to courageously serve his country in Vietnam in 1967. Returning to the states after having been seriously wounded, Bill began his career as a Master Mechanic, dedicating 42 years to his one and only company, Hamada Roofing, until his retirement in 2014. He is the son of the late Gladys and John Wildermuth and brother of the late Margaret (Joseph) Bocchinfuso. He is survived by his beloved wife, Linda; daughters, Lauren (Pat) Montenegro and Leigh (Charles) Phillips; step children, Margaret (the late Joseph) O’Mara, Kelly (John) Heffernan and Jason (Vicki) Babylon; grandfather to Jennifer, Joseph, Jacob, Leo, Johnny, Mia, Sofia, Olivia, Sydney and Cooper; also survived by nephew William (Jeanne) Bocchinfuso and nieces MargaretAnn (Daniel) House and Dawn (Billy) Hamilton and great nieces Kristina (Jason) Bombardier, Brooke and Becca Bocchinfuso. A steadfast family man and most loyal friend, Bill’s love and life will be remembered with a Memorial Gathering for family and friends on Saturday, September 19, 2015 from 11 AM - 2 PM at O’Leary Funeral Home, 640 E. Springfield Road, Springfield, PA with a luncheon to follow at The Oaks Ballroom, 511 Oak Lane, Glenolden, PA. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in his name to Einstein Medical Center Montgomery’s Cancer Center, Office of Development, 559 W. Germantown Pike, East Norriton, PA 19403.
