Lieutenant Colonel Herbert R. McMaster

Lieutenant Colonel Herbert R. McMaster (U.S. Army, retired), age 84, of Delaware County and formerly Roxborough, PA, served in the United States Army for 34 years, serving both active and reserves, died on Friday, April 13, 2018. Beloved husband of Caroline M. McMillion McMaster and her children Sandra, Caroline and Edward with eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; loving father of daughter Letitia McMaster and son Lieutenant General H.R. (Katie) McMaster, U.S. Army, and their children Katharine, Colleen and Caragh and; dear brother of the late Evelyn, Laura, Mary, George, Margaret, James, Harvey and Horace McMaster, whom are now at the right hand of God. Son of the late George H. McMaster and Margaret A. Devonshire McMaster; former wife Marie C. (Nee Curcio) McMaster, mother of H.R. and Letitia. Funeral Service: Wednesday, April 25th at 10:30AM at the Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Ltd., Middletown (Rte. #352) & Knowlton Rds., Middletown Twp., Media, PA 19063. Visitation: Wednesday, April 25th after 9:30AM at the funeral home. Interment with Military Honors on April 25th at 2:00PM: Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA.
