ST. LOUIS, Mo. — Nancy Lee (Watters) Smith, died Saturday, April 4, 2015 at the age of 85 in St. Louis, Mo. She lived in Delaware, Ohio as a young child until she graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University in the early 1950s. She was the fourth child of Roma Watters (deceased). Her siblings were Ruth Ann Watters (deceased), Robin Watters (surviving), Don Watters (deceased) and Carol Watters (deceased). All graduates of Rutherford B. Hayes High School. They lived at the old house at 226 West Central Avenue at the corner of Van Deman Avenue and West Central Avenue. She married James D. Smith (deceased) in 1952. She and Jim were residents of Cleveland Heights, Ohio for 37 years from 1954 to 1991 where they raised six children which all survive her: Scott, Stacey, Cindy, Todd, Karen and Brooke. She is also the grandmother to eight grandchildren: Rachel, Julian, Walker, Aaron, Maggie, Otto, Quinn and Jack. In 2006, she moved to St. Louis to be closer to her children and grandchildren.
