WARD, JIM R. - Delaware  
DELAWARE — Jim R. Ward, 65, of Delaware, died Sunday, Aug. 30, 2015 at Grady Memorial Hospital. He was born Oct. 11, 1949 in Springfield, Ohio, to the late Herman and Wilma (Wellman) Ward. Jim was a member of New Beginnings United Methodist Church. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandkids, fishing, mainly at Lake Erie, and playing Euchre. He was very devoted to his church, volunteering for many activities, especially when he could share his love of cooking. He also was committed to the volunteer efforts needed at Family Promise of Delaware County, helping with meals and overnight hosting. He enjoyed going to and being part of car shows, he won the "People's Choice Award" in the inaugural 1990 Delaware Car Show. He also enjoyed watching his Cincinnati Bengals on Sundays in the fall. He is survived by two daughters, Carrie (Bob) Mattox of Delaware and Tara Nord of Delaware; one grandson, Cameron Mattox; two granddaughters, Kendra Nord and Rachel Mattox; three sisters, Della Hendrick, Lily (Dale) Heironimus and Velma (Scott) Cyrus; two brothers, Ronald (Debra) Ward and Jackie Ward; and special friend, Twila Lutz of Lancaster. He was preceded in death by five brothers; and three sisters. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Grady Memorial Hospital and Hospice for their kindness and gracious support and comfort to Jim and his family. The funeral service will be Thursday, Sept. 3, 2015, beginning at 11 a.m. at New Beginnings United Methodist Church with Pastor David Carter officiating. Burial will follow the service at Fairview Memorial Park. Visitation will be Wednesday, Sept. 2, from 4-8 p.m. at the New Beginnings United Methodist Church. Arrangements are in care of Robinson Funeral Home, 32 W. Winter St., Delaware. Memorial contributions may be made in Jim's memory to the New Beginnings United Methodist Church, 385 E. WAMPLER, GREG A. - Westerville  
SUNBURY — Greg A. Wampler, 48, of Westerville, went to be with the Lord on Friday, Aug. 28, 2015 at his residence following a long illness. He was born in Columbus to the late Paul Wampler and Jenny (Hamilton) Butts of Rockbridge. He was a 1986 graduate of Buckeye Valley High School and was a plumber by trade. Greg was active in his earlier years with Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts as a pack and troop leader. Greg was the apple of his Grandmother Hazel's eye and was her number 1 boy. Greg's children were upmost in his life and he treasured the time he spent with them. He loved music of all types, The Ohio State Buckeyes Football, and anything to do with Christmas. Greg had a very bold personality and loved to do things in a very big way. He would do anything to help anybody in need and loved technology having the latest and greatest of everything. He is survived by his children, Vincent Warren Wampler, Amanda Jewel Wampler, Jessica Hazel Wampler, all of Greenville, S.C.; mother, Jenny (James) Butts of Rockbridge; brothers, Brian Wampler of Edison, Chad (Sharon) Wampler of Galena; sister, Tricia Steffen of Edison; the extended family; mother of his children, Brandy Wampler. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 1, at the DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, State Route 3 at 637 Ohio 61, Sunbury, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2015, with Pastor Ed Colegrove officiating.
