Florence L. Draper passed away Wednesday (Nov. 7, 2012) in the Norwalk Memorial Home at the age of 88. She was born June 6, 1924, to Rebecca and Clarence Pounds.
During World War II, Florence helped manufacture ammunition to support our troops.
She is survived by her six sons, twins, John (Nancy) Draper of Columbus and James (Joann) Draper of Norwalk, Donald (Fran) Draper of Holts Summit, Mo., Jerry (Ruth) Draper of Willard and twins, Ronald Draper of Norwalk and Richard (Connie) Draper of Crestview, Fla.; one sister, Gladys Howard of Delaware; 13 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Florence was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Henry in 2000; one daughter, Martha; one granddaughter, Judy; and twin brothers, Dorrence and Delmar Pounds.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 12, in the New House Cemetery, Warrensburg, Scioto Township, with the Rev. Deb Holder officiating. Florence will be laid to rest next to her husband, Henry, and her daughter, Martha.
