Leona Sarazin

BOISE, IDAHO - Leona Evelyn (Bauer) Sarazin, 85, a short-time resident of Boise, Idaho, and a long-time resident of Delaware, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 24, 2014 in Boise, Idaho.

She was born June 11, 1928, to Frank Joseph Bauer and Edith Gardener-Bauer of Durand, Wisc. She was married to Maurice Rene (Morris) Sarazin.

Leona is survived by: her four children, Maurice Rene Sarazin Sr. of Columbus, Ohio, Gary Allen Sarazin of Boise, Idaho, Terry L. Sarazin of Albuquerque, N.M., and Yvonne Marie Cannistra of Boise, Idaho; four grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Leona was preceded in death by: her parents; three brothers, Lester, Jessie and Frank; and sisters Tutti and Doris.

She is greatly missed by family, friends and all who knew her. She was a spunky little woman raised in the beautiful countryside outside of Colfax, Wisc.

Her last wishes were to have a simple cremation and to have her ashes spread by her children across the mountains of the Western United States.
