Annamae Courter, 90, of Delaware passed away Wednesday evening (April 24, 2013) at the Arbors at Delaware, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born Feb. 15, 1923, in Baltimore, Ohio, to Everett and Leona (Sommers) Nolze.
She was a homemaker who loved spending time with her family and who also enjoyed needlepoint, scrapbooking and, when younger, bowling. She also was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church.
Left behind to cherish her memory are daughters, Jennie Price of Delaware, Debbie (George) Husted of Marion, and Barbara (Dave) Dickason of Galloway; 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and her beautiful cat Ali. She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis, in 1996, two infant sons, daughter Carole, granddaughter Francine, grandson Terry, three sisters Thelma Ward, Lola Chaney and Arlene Hopper, and a son-in-law Don Price.
The family will receive friends on Sunday April 28 from 2-4 p.m. at the Snyder-Rodman Funeral Center, 1510 W. William St. at Valleyside Drive, Delaware, and where funeral services will be held on Monday April 29 at 1 p.m. with Rev. David Carter officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
