Belva B. Call, 85, of Delaware, passed away Thursday (Feb. 7, 2013) at Centerburg Pointe Nursing Home.
She was born Feb. 11, 1927, in Buckhannon, W. Va., to the late David and Opal (Brown) Brake. Belva was a member of the Healing Hill Cathedral in Delaware. She was a very spiritual person who loved to read her Bible, pray for the sick and her loved ones. Belva also loved her family deeply. She had a green thumb and enjoyed her flowers.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters, Judy (Jim Helton) Crego and Jenny Lou; a son, Robert Lee Sharp; grandchildren, Connie Horne, David Crego and Bubby Crego; eight great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Bob and Gene Brake; and sisters, Hazel Koon and Millie Goss.
Belva was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Nelson Sharp; second husband, William Call; and a brother, Stirley Brake.
Friends my call from 4 to 6 p.m. with a memorial service at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 12, at the Snyder-Rodman Funeral Center, 1510 W. William St. at Valleyside Drive.
