Evelyn Louise Boyd, 83, of Delaware, passed away Tuesday evening (Feb. 12, 2013) at Select Specialty Hospital in Columbus.
She was born July 18, 1929, in Apple Grove, W. Va., to the late Roy W. and Genevieve (Sturgeon) Plymale. She was an assembler for Glenwood Range for more than 15 years and retired in 1985. She lived most of her life in Delaware and was a member of the Native American Indian Center of Columbus.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her two granddaughters, Rosa Villa and her fiancé Timothy Bishop and Juanita (Ian) Gentry, all of Marion; brothers, Roy (Carol) Plymale of Radnor and Harold (Mary) Plymale of Delaware; eight great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard; a son, Lawrence; a daughter, Sharon Louise Villa; and a great-grandson, Joshua.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the 1 p.m. during services Wednesday, Feb. 20 at the Snyder-Rodman Funeral Center, 1510 W. William St. at Valleyside Drive, Delaware. Burial will follow in Fairview Memorial Park Cemetery.
