DELAWARE - Frank (FranzC) Charles Dolfinger, 85, of Delaware passed away Wednesday evening February 12, 2014 at Grady Memorial Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

He was born March 11, 1928 in Columbus to Charles and Magda (Hellmann) Dolfinger.

Frank married Judy Johns in November of 1952 and served in the Ohio National Guard from 1950 - 1957. He worked as a machinist assembler for Industrial Nucleonics in Columbus for 38 years until retirement and then worked another 18 years as a machinist with Stover Industries in Delaware until he was 81 years old. Frank and his wife Judy also owned and operated Dolfinger's Photography for 40 years. He loved planes and received his private pilot's license at age 72. He enjoyed photography, gardening, the outdoors and he met every challenge in life with humor. He was a Master Mason and member of the Hiram Lodge F & AM #18 of Delaware and former member of the Ashley Masonic lodge.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 61 years, Judy; son, Douglas; daughter, Julianna Dolfinger-Price and her husband Scott Price; granddaughters, Sophia and Lydia Price; brothers, Hermann (Carol) and Ernie (Nancy) Maschmann; many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister JoAnn Stout.

Celebration of Life Services will be held on Saturday February 15th at 1:00 pm at the Snyder Rodman Funeral Center, 1510 W. William Street at Valleyside Drive, Delaware. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services.
