Robert "Bob" Greg Stromberg, 58, of Delaware, passed away Thursday evening (Jan. 31, 2013) at his residence.
He was born March 17, 1954, in Chicago, Ill., to Raynold and Patricia (Brown) Stromberg. He worked in construction and facilities management for Gutknecht Construction in Columbus and later with the Columbus Airport. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing, bocce ball, poker, and watching his beloved Cincinnati Bengals. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and his dog, Barley.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his three sons, Matt and his fiancé Amanda Sirry of Annapolis, Md., Drew of Baltimore, Md., and Rob of Middletown, Conn.; his mother, Patsy, of Delaware; two brothers, R. Scott (Susie) of Delaware and Mike (Ann) of Cincinnati; the mother of his children, Annie Seiler of Baltimore, Md.; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Steven "Steve" on March 12, 2012.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 5, at the Snyder-Rodman Funeral Center, 1510 W. William St. at Valleyside Drive, Delaware.
