Shirley Lee Antle, 65, of Sunbury, died Saturday (Dec. 29, 2012) at her residence while surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on Aug. 17, 1947, in Bluffton, Ind. and was raised by her parents, Donald and Catherine Haman. Shirley met the love of her life, Jerry J. Antle, and they were wed on April 25, 1970. She came to Sunbury from St. Louis in 1992. She was happiest spending special time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter, Stacey (Jerry) Alvey of Sunbury; son, Stephen Antle of Columbus; mother, Catherine Haman; brother, David (Jenni) Haman of Tennessee; sister, Karen (Owen) Surface of Indiana as well as the three most precious people in her life, her grandchildren, Caleb, Evan and Collin Alvey.
Shirley was preceded in death by her father, Donald; husband, Jerry; and brother, Larry.
Private family services will be scheduled at a later date.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 5555 Frantz Road, Dublin, OH 43017.
