William Charles Cantrell, 52, of Delaware, passed away Sunday afternoon (Feb. 17, 2013) at Grant Medical Center, Columbus.

He was born July 9, 1960, in Columbus, to Bobby and Beverly (Berry) Locke. He attended the Delaware Bible Church and, when able, enjoyed bowling. He liked watching wrestling and spending time with his family. He also was an avid OSU fan.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his mother, Beverly Locke of Delaware; son, Brian Harris of Columbus; sister, Alice Irskens of Delaware; nine grandchildren; niece, McKayla Turner and nephew, Evan C. Locke.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Locke; adopted father, Junior Cantrell; sister, Ravenna Dawson; and a nephew, Cas Anthony Cantrell.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the 1 p.m. funeral services Friday, Feb. 22, at the Snyder-Rodman Funeral Center, 1510 W. William St. at Valleyside Drive, Delaware. Burial will follow in Cheshire Cemetery, where the Delaware County Veterans Association will provide military honors at graveside.
