DELAWARE - Forrest J. "Bud" Banks Sr., 85, of Delaware, died Thursday, April 3, 2014 at the Arbors of Delaware.
He was born July 28, 1928 in Delaware to Frank and Louie (Mendenhall) Banks. He graduated from Willis High School and proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II. A lifetime resident of Delaware, he was an avid golfer and bowler and rolled a 300 game.
He is survived by two daughters, Vickie Banks of Columbus, Beverly Banks of Ga.; three sons, Forrest Jr. of Columbus, Andra of Delaware and Chino of Columbus; a stepdaughter, Katherine Anderson of Columbus; many grand and great-grandchildren; two brothers, Rodney of Cardington and Winston of Springfield and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Robinson Funeral Home where military honors will be conducted at 4 p.m.
