DELAWARE — Kathryn Eileen Stickney, 90, of Delaware, passed away late Monday evening, July 14, 2014 at Grady Memorial Hospital.

She was born May 11, 1924 in Mansfield, Ohio, to the late Chester Abram MacMillan and Marguerite (Benton) MacMillan.

Eileen worked as a secretary for Sixpence School in Columbus. She enjoyed reading books, traveling and playing cards weekly with her friends.

Left to cherish her memory is her son, Donald D. Stickney of Homosassa Springs, Florida; daughter, Sharon Mackley of Surprise, Arizona; five grandchildren, Joseph (Sandra) Mackley, Scott (Betsey) Stickney, Ryan (Ilda) Stickney, Mark (Kristine) Stickney Jr. and Marci Robins; three great grandchildren Clay, Hailey and Madison Stickney; daughter-in-law, Sylvia Stickney of Brandon, Mississippi.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Franklin Stickney; son, Mark F. Stickney; daughter, Theresa L. Stickney; brother, Chester A. MacMillan; and a son-in-law, Bob Mackley.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday July 26, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at the Snyder-Rodman Funeral Center, 1510 W. William St. at Valleyside Drive, Delaware. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
