Paul H. Jumper, 94, of Delaware, died Friday (April 5, 2013) in Grady Memorial Hospital.
He was born June 30, 1918 to Harry and Helen (Humes) Jumper.
He graduated from Brown High School in 1937 and proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII.
A lifetime resident of Brown Twp, Paul was a dairy and grain farmer. He was a retired employee of Hart Stores, O.W.U., The Halfway House and Buehler's.
Paul was married to his high school sweetheart, Georgia, for 53 years, until her death in 1997.
He is survived by four daughters, Mary Early of Delaware, Margaret (Jay) Costlow of Columbus, Marty Chan of Delaware and Marcina (Steve) Carter of Columbus; two sons, Paul (Jane) and Art (Marsha) all of Delaware; many grand and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday from 5-8 p.m. at the Robinson Funeral Home where the funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery where the Delaware County Veterans Association will conduct military honors.
