James Philip Couillard
Pittsville—James Philip Couillard, 16, of Pittsville, passed away after a long illness at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. Born in Salisbury, he is survived by his father Gordon James Couillard, II and his mother, Tammy Webster Couillard, and his brother, Jack Aaron Couillard, all of Pittsville.
James was a student at Parkside High School. He had many interests, including, history, music, skate boarding, karate, fishing, hunting, shooting and welding, but his favorite was playing baseball from Little League to Senior League. He was a great friend to many, was loved by his teachers and was a great and wonderful son. He will be sadly missed.
In addition to his parents, he is also survived by his grandparents, Gordon J. Couillard, Sr. & his wife, Phylis of North East, PA and Wayne Elliott and his wife, Bonnie of Willards; an uncle, Aaron P. Couillard and his wife, Ellie; and Tammy's companion, Alvin Clark of Pittsville; and numerous other family members and many friends, including his best friend, Adam. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Anna Phippin.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at 1:00 pm at the Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Officiating will be Rev. Laura Strauss.

Gordon, Tammy, Jack and Uncle Gordon and Aunt Phylis: everytime I think about it my heart aches for all of you.
