Fields, Johnna E. *  
Johnna Elaine Fields Humble, TX-Johnna Elaine Fields, 29, the daughter of John and Gwendolyn Fields of Salisbury, departed this earth on Monday, May 18, 2015, at Memorial Hermann Northeast Hospital in Humble. Johnna was born on August 11, 1985 in Salisbury. She graduated from Parkside High School in 2003. Johnna attended University of Maryland Eastern Shore and graduated with honors from Hampton University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology. After graduation, she was employed by the public school system of West Virginia. For the next two years, she worked as a therapist in Berkley County and Charles County in West Virginia. In 2011, she was employed by The Cole Therapy Cooperation in Humble where she worked, until her death, as a speech therapist specializing in autistic therapy for children. Other than her parents, she leaves to mourn: five aunts, Earline Fuller of Glen Burnie, Shirley Fields of Hanover, Carolyn Cauley (Larry) of Temple Hills, Christine Elsey (Bryan) of Salisbury, and Thelma Flamer (John) of Bowie; four uncles, Hubert Fields (Janice) of Salisbury, Horace Fields (Wanda) of Salisbury, James Fields (Valerie) of Mitchellville, and Calvin Waters of Delmar; a host of cousins, other relatives and friends. A celebration of Johnna's life will be held today at First Baptist Church (Historic Sanctuary), 528 Booth Street and Delaware Avenue, Salisbury, at 12 PM. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the celebration. Interment will follow at Green Acres Memorial Park, Inc., West Road, Salisbury. Queenie Esther Everett Fisher Salisbury-Queenie Esther Everett Fisher, 76, of here, transitioned to eternal rest on Monday, May 18, 2015. She was born on April 26, 1939 in Quantico to the late Elder Wilmer Howard Parker and Jaylyn "Geraldine" Gale. Her husband, Edward Fisher, preceded her in death on August 27, 1996. She was educated in the public schools of Wicomico County and completed studies at the Woodbridge School to fulfill her high school ambition of becoming a secretary. In her early 20's, she relocated to New York City, NY. There, she worked and met persons who became lifelong friends. In 1970, Queenie decided to return to Salisbury. She continued her membership at the Church of God & Saints of Christ in Salisbury where she faithfully and diligently served as the Church Secretary for over 30 years. Prior to retiring, she was employed as an Office Secretary in the Financial Aide Department at Salisbury University. To continue her legacy, she leaves: three daughters, Talana Denise Everett Watson (Rev. Dr. Lewis N.) of Salisbury, Sabrina Esther Everett Amajioyi (Dominic) of Salisbury, and Gail Denise Fisher Wallace (Edward) of Charlotte, NC; seven grandchildren, Kenneth Lee Watson (Kanika), Kiya Jamar Amajioyi, Amaris Denise Watson, Christina Janelle Esther Watson, Dominic "Brooks" Amajioyi, Kobe Jordan Amajioyi, and Aaron Zebulun Wallace; and one great-grandson, Kaden Christoper Watson. She will also be lovingly remembered by: a stepson, Tonny Everett (Charmaine) of Bear, DE; a sister, Joyce Davis of Salisbury; four sisters-in-law, Viola Blake of Salisbury, Lavater Waters (Oliver, Sr.) of Salisbury, Dorothy Johnson (Sherwood) of Eden, and Brenda Fisher of Philadelphia, PA; an uncle, Dr. Maulana Karenga (Tiamoya) of Los Angeles, CA; three aunts, Dorothy Parker of Hampton, VA, Eunice Leonard of Parsonsburg, and Mary Watson of Seaford, DE; several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, in-laws, and friends. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by one sister, Gladys Cartwright. Mrs. Fisher will lie in repose on Saturday from 6 to 8 PM at Lewis N. Watson Funeral Home, P.A., 1618 West Road, Salisbury and Sunday from 1 to 2 PM at First Baptist Church, 528 Booth Street and Delaware Avenue, Salisbury. The funeral service will begin at 2 PM.
