Holden-Merritt, Dorothy *  
Dorothy Holden-Merritt Seaford-Dorothy Holden-Merritt, 53 of Seaford, formerly of Crisfield departed this life Saturday, May 16, 2005 at McCready Hospital in Crisfield. Born December 8, 1961 she was the daughter of Pastor Dorothy M. Holden and the late Frederick Holden. "Dimp", as she was affectionately known, graduated from Crisfield High School in 1980. She attended the University of Maryland Eastern Shore and Delmarva Beauty Academy. She was the owner operator of Healthy Hair Clinique in Seaford and was an Instructor of Cosmetology at Parkside High School in Salisbury. She is survived by her devoted husband, John "Al" Merritt; three sons, Sean Steward (Tamika), Ernest Ross (Brittany) and Tyriek Merritt; two daughters, Ericka Merritt and Lisa Merritt; her mother, Pastor Dorothy M. Holden; 13 grandchildren; one brother, Oliver Sutton; one sister, Helen Murray; one aunt, Geraldine Jackson and a host of other relatives and friends. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by one nephew, Darin Murray. A memorial service will be held 12 noon, Saturday, May 23, 2015 at Parkside High School in Salisbury, Maryland. Hudson Sr., Morgan *  
Morgan J. Hudson, Sr. Berlin-- Morgan James Hudson, Sr., 68 died Saturday, May 16, 2015 at University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, MD. Born in Berlin, he was the son of the late Daniel and Victoria (Purnell) Hudson. He was a 1966 graduate of Stephen Decatur High School and a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church, both in Berlin. He was employed for 17 years as a correctional officer at Graterford Prison in Skippack, PA, retiring in 2006 He is survived by four children: Troy (Joanne) Hudson and Anisa Short, all of Philadelphia, Morgan J. Hudson, Jr. and Tija Gee of Berlin; ten grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, five siblings: Daniel (Lorraine) Hudson of Georgia, Clemmons (Julia) Hudson of Salisbury and Vivian Smith, Shirley Beckett and Oliver (Rose) Hudson, all of Berlin, and a host of nieces and nephews. Two sisters: Catherine Purnell and Yvonne Collick preceded him in death. A funeral service will be held 12 noon, Saturday, May 23, 2015 at St. Paul U.M. Church in Berlin where friends may view two hours prior to service. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Funeral services are entrusted to Jolley Memorial Chapel of Salisbury, MD.
