Waters Sr., Wardell Allen *  
Wardell Allen Waters, Sr. Middletown, DE-Wardell Allen Waters, Sr., 74, of here and formerly of Salisbury, departed this life on Tuesday, November 18, 2014, at Select Specialty Hospital in Wilmington, DE. Born in Rahway, NJ, he was the son of the late Lethia Holden Waters and Elijah Waters. In 1958, "Wydell," as he was affectionately called, moved to White Plains, NY. He served in the United States Air Force. Prior to retiring in 1990, he worked at Verizon, formerly New York Telephone, as a manager. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Sandra Waters, daughter, Cynthia (Douglas) Cooney, son, Wardell Waters, Jr., granddaughter, Martina Cooney, brother, Gathan Waters, special cousin, Lillian K. Reed, whom he regarded as his sister, other cousins, in-laws, and friends. Mr. Waters will lie in repose on Saturday, November 22, 2014, from 12 to 1 PM at First Baptist Church, 528 Booth Street and Delaware Avenue, Salisbury. The funeral service will begin at 1 PM. Rev. Dr. Lewis N. Watson will be the officiating pastor. He will also lie in repose on Tuesday, November 25, 2014, from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at Lee's Funeral Home, LLC, 160 Fisher Avenue, White Plains. Interment will follow at Kensico Cemetery, 273 Lakeview Avenue, Valhalla, NY. A ministry of comfort and dignity is being provided by Lewis N. Watson Funeral Home, P.A. in Salisbury. Watson, Cleona *  
Cleona Elizabeth Watson Salisbury-Mrs. Cleona Elizabeth Watson (87) of Westover departed this life Friday, November 21, 2014, at Coastal Hospice at the Lake in Salisbury, Maryland, the daughter of the late Lena King and Phillip Richardson. Cleona was faithful member of Glorious Church of our Lord Jesus Christ of the Apostolic Faith, in Pocomoke City, MD. She leaves to mourn: her daughter, Marie I. Jenkins; granddaughter, Mary G. Jenkins; three sisters, Lillie M. Greene, Doris Baines, Lena Mae Cropper (Lorenzo); three brothers George (Aretha), Clarence (Geraldine) and Dr. Earl (Sheila) Richardson; one aunt Lillie Ayers a host of family and friends. A viewing will be held Saturday, November 29, 2014 from 10am to 12noon at Bennie Smith Multipurpose Center, with a Graveside service at 1pm, John Wesley Cottage Grove Cemetery, Westover, MD.

West, Paige H. *  
Paige H. West POMPANO BEACH, FL-Paige H. West, age 82 of Pompano Beach, FL passed away on November 23, 2014. He had been a local resident since 1986 after moving from Salisbury, MD. Paige graduated from Snow Hill High School with the class of 1949 and was retired from the harness horse racing business. He is survived by his loving wife, Lois; by sons: Todd (Mary) West and Dana West; by grandchildren: Lauren and Cory; as well as by many friends. No services are being planned. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Paige's memory to: St Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St Jude's Place, Memphis, TN 38105; or to Standardbred Retirement Foundation, 108 F. Samuel White Berlin-Samuel White, 71, of here, departed this life on Tuesday, November 11, 2014, at Atlantic General Hospital. Born in Whaleyville, he was the son of the late John Albert Purnell, Jr. and Nettie Frame Purnell. Mr. White was a member of St. John's United Methodist Church. Prior to retiring, he served in the United States Army and was self-employed as a truck driver. He will be lovingly remembered by: his wife, Martha Lee White of Berlin; two daughters, Vanessa White and Sheila White, both of Wilmington, DE; three stepdaughters, Cynthia Douglas, Angela Douglas, both of Wilmington, and Chelsea Douglas of Brotmanville, NJ; one sister, Shirley Purnell-Baker of Tallahassee, FL; one stepbrother, Alvin Harmon of Berlin; three uncles, Eugene Purnell, Sr., Leon (Mary Francis) Purnell, Sr. and Pastor Gary (Gloria) Purnell, Sr., all of Berlin; 20 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, in-laws, and friends. Mr. White will lie in repose on Saturday, November 22, 2014, from 10 to 11 AM at St. John's United Methodist Church, 8829 Lewis Road, Berlin. The funeral service will begin at 11 AM. Rev. Wilgus, D. Eugene *  
D. Eugene Wilgus Selbyville-D. Eugene "Gene" Wilgus, age 83, of Selbyville died Sunday, November 16, 2014 at University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore. He was born in Selbyville and was the son of the late James E. and Jennie H. (Hudson) Wilgus Sr. Gene owned and operated Wilgus Glamorama, formerly Selbyville Cleaners, for many years in Selbyville and was a charter boat Captain operating the Wild Goose out of Indian River Inlet. He was a member of Salem United Methodist Church in Selbyville, a founding member of the Thursday Morning Bible Study at Doyle's Restaurant in Selbyville and a member and Past Master of Doric Masonic Lodge #30 in Millville. In 1978 he was selected as the Small Business Person of The Year for the State of Delaware. He was also a US Air Force veteran. He is survived by a son, Jeff Wilgus and his wife Gay of Selbyville; a daughter, Sue Stewart and her husband Fred of Selbyville; 3 grandchildren, Dr. Courtney Stewart, Kristen Jones and Chuck Stewart and 2 great grandchildren Reagan and Tanner Jones. He was preceded in death by his wife Deliah B. Wilgus in 1975 and two brothers, James E. Wilgus Jr. and Carlton L. Wilgus. A funeral service will be held at 12 noon on Friday, November 21 at Hastings Funeral Home in Selbyville with Pastor Mike Fillis officiating. Friends may call an hour before the service and burial will be in Redmen's Cemetery in Selbyville. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Thursday Morning Bible Study, c/o Bob Strawser, P.O.
