Appleman, Lawrence *  
Lance Appleman Berlin, Maryland-LANCE APPLEMAN On Monday, April 27, at Atlantic General Hospital in Berlin, MD, Lance Appleman, age 34, of Millsboro, De. and Berlin , Md., formerly of Crofton, Md., passed away after a valiant 24 year struggle with Diabetes, and later with Graves Disease. Lance is survived by his beloved son, Scott Allen Appleman (age 6), his parents Larry and Eileen Appleman, his mother Laura Harrison, his brother Craig (Donna) and niece Ilyssa, his aunt Rhoda (Ted) Aronow and cousins Alec and Seth Aronow and Allison O'Reilly. Stepbrother David Stren and nephew Ken Stern. Lance's life, love, and legacy will be carried on through his son Scott - his pride and joy.

Jason Lee Brown Salisbury-Jason Lee Brown, 37, of Salisbury, went to be with his father, Douglas Laird Brown (7-22-07) and brother, Shawn D. Brown (5-27-10), Saturday, April 25, 2015. Born in Salisbury, he was the son of Tamela Jean Brown & her companion, Kevin Ward of Salisbury. Jason was a 1995 graduate from Wicomico High School. He was a self-employed handyman and enjoyed working with his hands. He loved hunting, fishing and crabbing and was an avid Redskins fan and enjoyed going to games. In addition to his mother he is survived by his grandparents, Edward & Linda Smith of Parsonsburg; grandmother, Rubie Bowers of Ambler, PA; aunts & uncles, David Brown of Georgetown, DE, Karen Blades & her husband, Mark of Parsonsburg, Clark Stephens & his wife, Lisa of Pittsville, Kim Stoakley of Delmar, MD, Dot & Clifton Smith of Salisbury; great aunts & uncles, Doris & Eugene Cecil of Fruitland and Norma & Ruben Donavan of Milton, DE; many cousins and friends. In addition to his father and brother he was preceded in death grandparents, Vernon & Barbara Brown and Phoebe Donavan, aunt Sandy K. Meyers and an uncle, Roger Smith. A graveside memorial service will be held Friday, May 1, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Wicomico Memorial Park in Salisbury with Rev. J. Harvey Dixon officiating. Byrd, Randolph *  
Randolph Carlton Byrd Pocomoke City-Mr. Randolph Carlton Byrd, 80, of Pocomoke City, formerly of Grotontown, passed away on April 25, 2015 at Hartley Hall Nursing Home in Pocomoke City, MD. Born on June 17, 1934, in Pocomoke City, MD, he was the son of the late Walter H. Byrd and Eunice Taylor Byrd. He was an electrician helper and was a long time member of Bethel Baptist Church, Spence Baptist Church in Snow Hill and later First Baptist Church in Pocomoke City. At these churches, he proudly had perfect church attendance for 52 years. Randolph is survived by a brother, David Byrd of Virginia Beach, VA; three sisters, Elsie Walker and husband, James of Elizabeth City, NC, Peggy B. Taylor and husband, Donald of Pocomoke, MD and Bettie Griffin of Lapel, IN and several nieces and nephews. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Byrd and his wife, Janice; a brother in-law, James Griffin and a sister-in-law, Barbara M. Byrd. A memorial service will be held on Saturday at 2PM from the First Baptist Church in Pocomoke, MD with Pastor Paul Elligson officiating.
