One of her true passions in life was her involvement with the Order of the Eastern Star. She was Past Matron of Adah Chapter No. 5, where she served as secretary for 36 years. Betty was a wonderful mother, nana, great-grandmother and all-around inspirational woman. She loved serving the community and her church in various capacities. She was a member of St. Stephen's United Methodist Church and a member of Deborah Circle. She was also a former volunteer for Peninsula Regional Medical Center and used her masterful sewing techniques to stitch broken teddy bears together for Bear Care days. She was well known for her meticulous style of crocheting and crafting skills, but also enjoyed traveling, camping with her husband, cooking for family gatherings and being with family and friends.

Betty is survived by her daughters, Ann L. Street (Robert) of Princess Anne and Lisa Lloyd Ellis (Randy) of Delmar. Del., daughter-in-law Sharon Lloyd of Kemah, Texas; grandchildren Kelli Street (fiancé Edvin Besic) of Miami, Fla., Jenna and Myles Lloyd of Texas, and Randy Ellis Jr. (Leslie) of Delmar; great-grandchildren Caitlin and Cole Ellis; sister Mary Jane Johnson (Richard); sister-in-law Jeannie Lloyd; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, Richard E. Lloyd, who passed in 2003, she was predeceased by her son, John Franklin Lloyd (2012), her younger sister, Emaline Dennis (1994) and brother-in-law, Gene Lloyd.
