Clifton Sylvester Savage
Salisbury—Clifton Sylvester Savage, 57, of here, departed this life on Sunday, September 30, 2012, at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury. Born in Gargatha, VA, he was the son of the late Warren Fosque and Sadie Savage.
He attended United Faith Church of Deliverance in Salisbury.
He was employed by Perdue Farms in Salisbury where he worked in the Sanitation Department.
Fond memories will be cherished by: his wife, Laverne Savage of Salisbury; one stepson, Elwood Wyatt of Salisbury; three stepdaughters, Kalilah Stevenson, Latoya Strange and Sharon Strange, all of Salisbury; two sisters, Cynthia (Oscar) Toney and Stephanie Bailey, both of Parksley, VA; three grandchildren; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Mr. Savage will lie in repose on Friday from 6 to 8 PM at Lewis N. Watson Funeral Home, P.A. on 1618 West Road in Salisbury and Saturday from 12 to 1 PM at United Faith Church of Deliverance on Jersey Road in Salisbury. The funeral service will begin at 1 PM. Bishop George A. Copeland will be the officiating pastor. Interment will be in Green Acres Memorial Park, Inc. on West Road in Salisbury.
