David Carroll Brown
POCOMOKE CITY-David Carroll Brown, 58, died suddenly Saturday, Aug. 24, 2013, at his home in Pocomoke City.
David was born Oct. 6, 1954, in Salisbury. He was the son of the late George E. Brown and Edna W. Marshall.
David served in the U.S. Air Force
during Vietnam. He later worked for Peoples Insurance and Home Beneficial Life Insurance. He then joined his wife, Dottie, working for a physician in Crisfield, until his retirement.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching the Washington Redskins and Baltimore Orioles play. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather whose greatest moments were spending precious time with his family.
David is survived by his wife of 36 years, Dottie Brown. His only child, Joshua Brown and his fiancé Carrie Crockett of Salisbury. His granddaughter Madison Brown and his companion Baxter the dog. He is also survived by two nieces, one nephew, several cousins, and
In addition to his parents David is preceded in death by his sister Constance Humphreys.
A funeral service will be held on Friday at 2 p.m. at Holloway Funeral Home in Pocomoke City. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment with military honors will follow the services at Bethany Methodist Cemetery on 3rd Street in Pocomoke.
