Lawrence, Gordon D.
Hurlock—Gordon D. Lawrence of Hurlock, died April 1, 2013 at Mallard Bay Nursing Home in Cambridge, MD. He was 66.
Mr. Lawrence was born in Washington, DC on December 11, 1946, the son of the late Allan and Helen Lawrence.
Mr. Lawrence served his country in the United States Air Force
. He then attended University of Maryland and graduated with a degree in Education. He later co-owned Sundance Cycle in Cambridge, Salisbury, and Fruitland with his lifelong friend and business partner, Dennis Koivisto of Cambridge, MD.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra F. Bond Lawrence, a daughter, Lesley Lawrence Stull of Cambridge, a son, Scott Lawrence and his wife Erin of Hurlock, six grandchildren, Veronica Lynn Kelly, Zachary Stull, Corey Stull, Brandon Lawrence, Annabelle Willis and James Howell, two great-grandchildren, Sierra Kelly and O'rian Kelly and a sister, Betty Cookson of Lanham, MD.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Allan Lawrence, II.
A celebration of life will be held on April 27, 2013 from 2:00-6:00 p.m. at the Federalsburg V.F.W
