Larry Edward Richardson
SALISBURY-Larry Edward Richardson, 65, of Salisbury died Monday, Aug. 26, 2013, at Hospice at the Lake in Salisbury with his family at his side.
Born Aug. 4, 1948, in Salisbury, he was the son of the late Charles Wesley Richardson and Lula Mae Marine Compher.
He was a graduate of Baltimore City College and served in the US Army in Vietnam. He retired in 2010 from Salisbury Taxi after working there for twenty years.
He was a member of American Legion Post # 64 in Salisbury and the former East Side Men's Club.
He is survived by his wife Dorothy L. Richardson of Salisbury; three sons Charles Baldwin of Roanoke, Va., Owen Baldwin, Jr. of Salisbury, and Curtis Baldwin and his wife Julie of Wilmington, Del.; four daughters Kathy Seehafer of Salisbury, Diane Lockley and her husband David of Salisbury, Karen Dozier and her husband Russell of Salisbury, and Tammy Legates and her husband Bill of Salisbury; fourteen grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his stepfather Dale A. Compher; a brother Charles Richardson, Jr., and two grandsons, Jason Bolen and Jason Seehafer.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 12 p.m. at the Zeller Funeral Home in Salisbury where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Rev. Harvey Dixon will officiate. A private interment will be held at a later date.
