Margaret A. "Peggy" Littleton

Pittsville-Margaret A. "Peggy" Littleton, 83, of Pittsville died Monday, November 18, 2013 at Salisbury Nursing Home. Born in Whitesville, DE she was the daughter of the late Ernest Wilkerson and Violet Niblett Wilkerson.

Peggy was a member of the Women of the Moose and attended Ayers United Methodist and Bay Shore Community Church. She enjoyed working in the yard with her flowers, music, and dancing. Peggy loved attending church and going to lunch with her Christian friends and family.

She is survived by six children, Bonita "Bonnie" Tyler, Cheryl Evans and her husband Edward, Charles Franklin Baker, Jr., Thomas Baker and his wife Hilda, Denise Baker, and Holly Bynum and her husband Jim; five grandchildren, Wendy Moore, Amy Evans, Shane Baker and his wife Marie, Ethan Baker, Tommy Bynum; four great-grandchildren, Kayla Messick, Sarah Baker, Thomas Baker, and James Bynum; brother, Wilbert Wilkerson and his wife Thai; sister, Lorraine Phillips and her husband Clifton; two half brothers, Jerry Wilkerson and his wife Ruth and Steve Wilkerson and his wife Mary; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles Franklin Baker, Sr.; second husband, Norman Joseph Littleton; and a sister, Jean Horner.

A funeral service will be held Friday at 2PM at Bounds Funeral Home on East Main Street in Salisbury. Interment will follow in Pittsville Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday evening from 6PM-8PM at the funeral home.
