Milton Waters, Jr.

Eden—Milton Waters, Jr., 87, of here, departed this life on Wednesday, January 23, 2013, at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury. Born in Pocomoke City, he was the son of the late Milton Waters, Sr. and Daisey Schoolfield Dennis.

Mr. Waters was a member of Abundant Life Worship Center and Lamech Lodge #30 F. & A. M. He was a founding member of the Fruitland Community Center.

He served in the United States Army during World War II. He was owner and operator of Milton Waters & Son, Inc.

Fond memories will be cherished by: his wife, Leatha L. Waters; three sons, Thaddeus (Shirley) Waters, Joe (Barbara Ann) Waters and Milton (Terrie) Waters III; one daughter, Daniele Waters; one granddaughter whom he raised as a daughter, Nakita Ross; two brothers, Earl (Wynette) Dennis and Steven (Grace) Dennis; one sister, Allene Bozman; two brothers-in-law; three sisters-in-law; 16 other grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, in-laws, and friends.

Mr. Waters will lie in repose on Saturday from 12 to 1 PM at Abundant Life Worship Center located on 6070 Hobbs Road in Salisbury. The funeral service will begin at 1 PM. Pastor Jonathan Willey will officiate. Interment will be on Monday at 12 PM in Springhill Memory Gardens in Hebron. A ministry of comfort and dignity is being provided by Lewis N.
