Absecon, NJ—Noah Smith-Purdy, 34 days, of here, departed this life on Friday, November 9, 2012, at Alfred I. DuPont Hospital for Children in Wilmington, DE. Born in Galloway, NJ, he was the son of Tyrik T. Purdy of Pleasantville, NJ and Kierra J. Smith of Absecon, NJ.
Noah was a precious child of God.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by: one sister, Angelina Marie Purdy of Somers Point, NJ; paternal grandparents, Tanya and Henry Purdy of Pleasantville, NJ; maternal grandparents, Marcus and Anissa Sanders of Absecon, NJ and Leslie and Sherito Smith of Salisbury; maternal great-grandparents, Lori Gustus of Berlin, Herman (Diane) Brooks and Elizabeth Smith, both of Salisbury; paternal great-grandfather, Preston McClendon of Pleasantville, NJ; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, at 3 PM, at St. Paul United Methodist Church located on 405 Flower Street in Berlin. Rev. Barbara Harmon will officiate.
