Ronald Lee White
PARSONSBURG — Ronald Lee White, 71, of Parsonsburg died Friday, Jan. 18, 2013, at Peninsula Regional Medical Center. Born in Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late George Franklin White and Velma Smith White.
Ronnie was a plumber by trade working in the area and retired from Dagsboro Electric and Plumbing.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Peggy C. White; daughters, Kim Perdue and her husband, Gerald, and Theresa Griffin; special granddaughter, Michelle Purcell and her husband, Matt; grandchildren, Crystal and George Griffin; his faithful companion, his dog, Gizmo; two great-grandchildren; sister, Norma Jean Wainwright; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, George White, and sister, Betty Mae Massey.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday, Jan. 22, at 2 p.m. at Bounds Funeral Home on East Main Street in Salisbury. The Rev. J. Harvey Dixon will officiate. Interment will follow in Forest Grove Cemetery in Parsonsburg. Friends may call Monday evening from 6-8 at the funeral home.
