Sandra Theresa Maddox
Salisbury—Sandra Theresa Maddox, (50) of Salisbury, Maryland formerly of Manokin, MD, the beloved daughter of Mary A. Maddox and Roosevelt Jones, was born on January 20, 1962. She departed this life on Saturday, November 3, 2012 at the Costal Hospice at the Lake in Salisbury, Maryland.
She received her formal education in the public Schools of Somerset County in Princess Anne, Maryland, where she played basketball and softball.
She was employed on various jobs until her health began to fail. Her last place of employment was at Meatland, now Save-a-Lot on Cypress Street, in Salisbury, MD. She enjoyed laughing, Joking and spending time with family and friends.
Prior to her becoming a member of St. John's Holiness Church in Cambridge Md. She attended Samuel Wesley United Church in Manokin, MD thru her teens.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her mother, Mary A. Maddox of Manokin, MD, her father Rosevelt "Fuzzy"(Vernedo) Jones of Philadelphia, PA; one son Dedrick Maddox of Salisbury, MD; three brothers , Dewayne and James Edward, both of Philadelphia PA, Gregory (Dawn) Jones, of Baltimore, MD; five sisters, Cynthia, , Ronetha, Rocherlle, Rhoshanda Jones and Latoya (Chris) Cummington; five aunts Diane (Robert) Reddick, Sr., Barbara L Ward, Mary, Sandras and Margaret Jones; two uncles, James and Roger Jones; one godson, Keith Long of North Carolina and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, in-laws and friends.
A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, November 10, 2012 at Bennie Smith Funeral Home- Princess Anne at 10:30am with a visitation Friday November 9, 2012 from 6-8pm and 9am to 10:15 prior to the service.
