Vivian McCabe Wright

SALISBURY-Vivian McCabe Wright, 84, died Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2013.

She was born May 3, 1929, to the late Mary Eva McCabe and Harry F. McCabe.

She was a loving mother and admired by many. She lived life with grace and dignity. Her passion for life was unsurpassed.

Mrs. Wright retired from Verizon in 1991. She was past president of American Legion Post 166 Auxiliary in Ocean City, Junior Board of PRMC Auxiliary and the Girl Scouts of America. She was also a member of the Moose and Elks Club in Salisbury. She was a member of Trinity United Church.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by Joseph H. Wyatt Sr., Joseph H. Wyatt Jr. (son) and Vivian Faye Hall (daughter).

She is survived by a son, Harry F. Wyatt; grandchildren, Eric C. Wyatt (Kim), Robert J. Hall (Susan), Laura H. Wright (Brian), Joseph "Frank" Hall, Harry F. Wyatt-Swift, Jacob "Dylan" Wyatt-Swift;great-grandchildren, Evan, Ava, Hunter and Emily; brother, Eugene V. McCabe of Florida; and sister, Mary M. Brown of Salisbury. She also leaves behind very special nieces and nephews. She considered four nieces as her daughters. They are Peggy Bergeron of New York, Constance McCabe of Maryland, Teresa McCabe of Florida and Marcia Helms of Berlin.

A special acknowledgment to Dr. Cockey, whose words and spirit inspired her.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, Aug. 21, from 1-2 p.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church, 112 High Street, Salisbury, MD 21801.
