Perry Romig Obituary
Greenbackville, VA-Perry William Romig, 66, of Greenbackville, VA, died at his home on September 17, 2016. Born November 29, 1949, in Salisbury, MD, he was the son of the late Charles and Jeanette Davis Romig.
Perry was a craftsman in the auto body and fiberglass industry for many years prior to starting his own charter fishing business on board "Topless" out of Greenbackville.
He loved hunting, fishing and being with his many friends.
He is survived by his wife Nancy Figgs Romig, daughter Allison Romig Norton (Deondre) of San Diego, CA, three step children, George Malone III (Charley) of Salisbury, John Waryasz, Jr. all of Salisbury, and Stacy Waryasz of Greenbackville, eight grandchildren, Dylan Romig, Deoni and Amirra Norton, Allissa and Ashton Pope, Alexus Malone, and Trevor and Makaela Waryasz.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Heather Romig Pope.
A memorial service, officiated by Rev. Reid Sterett, will be held at Noon on Saturday, September 24, 2016, at the Holloway Funeral Home in Pocomoke City, where family and friends will gather one hour prior to the service and everyone is encouraged to dress casually and if you have a "Topless" t-shirt or sweatshirt please wear them. A reception will follow at the Crusty Crab Restaurant in Greenbackville at 2:00 PM.
If desired, memorial contributions in Perry's memory can be made to the Greenbackville Vol. Fire Dept., 1479 Stockton Ave., Greenbackville, VA 23356.

Capt Slickavich was a one of a kind always get u a early-morning smile when I heard him on the air his up the beach was are down the beach but we always found the fish N be beside each other tight lines Captain Perry will be greatly missed our deepest sympathy to the family
